11,000 newly displaced by escalating violence in El Obeid
Escalating violence, including drone strikes targeting civilian infrastructure, in and around the city of El Obeid caused the displacement of 11,000 people (including 5,500 children) over two weeks, according to Save the Children. The destruction of fuel stations and water supplies severely worsened the humanitarian crisis.
