These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and the operators of WarHeatMap.app ("WAR 3.0," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using warheatmap.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

CRITICAL DISCLAIMER: All information on WAR 3.0 is aggregated from open-source materials and processed using artificial intelligence classification systems. This information is provided for general situational awareness and research only. It should NOT be used as the sole basis for life-safety decisions, emergency response, military or security operations, or any decision where inaccuracy could cause harm.

The WAR 3.0 platform, including its design, code, AI classification system, data visualizations, the "War 3.0" designation and branding, and all proprietary content we generate, are protected by US and international copyright law. The "WAR 3.0" name and "WarHeatMap.app" branding are proprietary to us.
Fair Use: You may share, screenshot, cite, and link to our platform for non-commercial research, journalism, education, and commentary purposes, provided you attribute WAR 3.0 and link to warheatmap.app. Commercial use of our proprietary data, visualizations, or branding requires written permission.
Third-Party Content: All news content and event data aggregated from third-party sources remains the intellectual property of those sources. We display such content under fair use doctrine for educational, research, and commentary purposes with attribution.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WAR 3.0 AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM: (A) YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM; (B) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE PLATFORM; OR (C) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR LIABILITY; IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless WAR 3.0 and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of: (a) your use or misuse of the platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law; or (d) any content you submit or share in connection with the platform.
WAR 3.0 tracks active armed conflicts, casualties, displacement crises, and related humanitarian emergencies. This content may be disturbing to some users. By using the platform, you acknowledge that you are doing so voluntarily and are aware of the nature of the content. The platform is intended for adults and informed users. We do not display graphic imagery; all content is text-based data classification and visualization.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association (AAA) Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property disputes.
Class Action Waiver: You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
EU/UK Users: Nothing in this section limits your right to bring claims before your local courts or consumer protection authorities as permitted under applicable EU or UK law.
We reserve the right to block access to the platform, at our sole discretion, for any user who violates these Terms, engages in abusive behavior, or poses a security risk to the platform — without prior notice. Because the platform requires no account, this will occur at the IP or network level.
We may update these Terms at any time. The "Effective Date" at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes via a notice on the platform.
