Russia launches massive drone and missile assault on Kyiv
Russia launched a significant aerial attack against Ukraine, deploying 188 drones and several missiles. The assault, which kept Kyiv under air-raid alerts for over 20 hours, primarily targeted the capital's energy infrastructure. President Zelensky has called for strengthened air defenses ahead of the winter season as the strikes caused traffic disruptions across three major bridges over the Dnipro River.
