Russia launches major infrastructure air campaign against Ukraine
Russia has unleashed a heavy, coordinated air campaign targeting Ukraine's energy grid, hitting facilities around Kyiv and at least five other regions. The strikes caused significant damage, resulting in at least seven deaths, including a child. Emergency power cuts were imposed in Kyiv and surrounding regions—the first since spring—as Ukraine faces a shortage of air defenses ahead of the winter season.
