Israeli drone strike kills Hamas commander in Deir al-Balah
The Israeli military conducted a targeted drone strike in central Gaza’s Deir al-Balah on Sunday, killing Hussam Osama Hussein Nasir, a senior commander in Hamas’s Al-Qassam Brigades. Palestinian medical sources reported that the strike also killed a three-year-old boy and another adult civilian near Akila Street. The assassination occurred amidst intensified Israeli air operations in central Gaza and reported violations of the fragile ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon, where residents reported heavy explosions earlier today.
