RSF Ground Assault on Um Arada Kills 18 Civilians
Paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) launched a dawn ground assault on the town of Um Arada, southwest of El Obeid in North Kordofan. The attack resulted in the confirmed deaths of 18 civilians, with 17 others wounded. Local witnesses reported that fighters executed men attempting to flee and subjected residents to physical abuse. The assault triggered the displacement of over 300 families, who fled on foot toward the state capital as the Sudanese Armed Forces attempted to regain control.
