Ukrainian Long-Range Drones Strike Russian Oil Refineries and Sinks Cargo Ship
Ukrainian forces conducted a series of long-range strikes deep into Russian territory and the Black Sea. A sanctioned Russian container ship, the Yanina, was sunk by naval drones 130 miles from Novorossiysk; all 17 crew members were rescued. Concurrently, drones targeted oil refineries in Bashkortostan and a major logistics hub in Samara. In the Saratov region, a drone strike on a residential building in Engels killed two civilians, while radar systems were targeted in Krasnodar Krai.
