US Destroyers Transit Strait of Hormuz Under Iranian Missile Fire; CENTCOM Retaliates
US Navy guided-missile destroyers USS Truxtun, USS Rafael Peralta, and USS Mason transited the Strait of Hormuz under sustained fire from Iranian missiles, drones, and small boats. US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed it intercepted the unprovoked attacks and conducted self-defense strikes against Iranian military facilities near Bandar Abbas and Qeshm, targeting drone launch sites and command centers. President Trump reported that no US vessels were damaged in the engagement.
