Ukraine Strikes Russian 'Shadow Fleet' Tankers and Missile Ship in Primorsk
Ukrainian forces conducted long-range naval drone strikes on May 3, 2026, targeting Russian energy infrastructure in the Baltic and Black Seas. President Zelensky confirmed successful hits on a Karakurt-class cruise missile carrier and two 'shadow fleet' tankers at the port of Primorsk, Leningrad region, and another tanker near Novorossiysk. The strikes are part of an intensified campaign to diminish Russia's sanctioned oil export revenue and naval capabilities during the fifth year of the war.
