Hezbollah Launches Passover Rocket Barrage at Northern Israel
Hezbollah militants fired approximately 150 rockets from Lebanon into northern Israel on April 1 and 2, 2026, during the Passover holiday. The barrage caused several injuries, including two men in Kiryat Shmona and two in Bi'ina, and hit a empty kindergarten in Nahariya. In response, the Israel Defense Forces carried out strikes against Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon and engaged in close-quarters ground combat, resulting in two Israeli soldiers being wounded.
