Russian Advance on Ivanivske Village

Russian forces seized the village of Ivanivske on the Pokrovsk front on March 20, leading to the urgent evacuation of 3,500 civilians from neighboring settlements. The Kyiv Independent reported that Ukrainian regional authorities organized bus convoys to move residents toward the relative safety of Dnipro. Intensive shelling preceding the ground advance destroyed several apartment blocks, making immediate flight the only option for remaining families who had previously resisted evacuation calls from the military administration.
