Strikes hit fuel depot and regional capital in Sudan
Sudanese forces and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continued heavy fighting, with a drone strike targeting a major fuel depot near Wad Madani in central Sudan on September 28. Separately, two explosions were reported in Nyala, the capital of South Darfur state and an RSF stronghold. The attacks occurred as army chief Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan rejected international pressure for a ceasefire, vowing to continue the conflict until the RSF is eliminated.
