EU extends sanctions against Russia
European Union ambassadors in the Committee of Permanent Representatives (Coreper) have reached an agreement to extend existing sanctions measures against Russia. The decision postpones the expiry of the current restrictive measures by seven days, maintaining the freeze on assets and other economic penalties related to Russia's ongoing war of aggression in Ukraine.
