1,275 Displaced from Um Baru Locality in North Darfur
Between September 3 and 6, 2026, deteriorating security conditions forced approximately 1,275 people to flee the villages of Gorbora and Wadi Arkawi in North Darfur's Um Baru locality, according to the IOM. The displaced families moved to the Karnoy locality or crossed the border into Chad.
