Armed gangs displace over 2,600 in Kenscoff, Haiti
Coordinated attacks by armed gangs in the Kenscoff municipality, south-east of Port-au-Prince, caused the burning of homes and civilian casualties. According to the IOM, the violence displaced 2,647 individuals (702 households) between August 23 and 25, forcing them to seek shelter with host families in Pétion-Ville and nearby displacement sites.
