Clashes in Geissan Displace 7,800 in Blue Nile State
Renewed clashes in and around the town of Geissan in Sudan's Blue Nile state triggered a new wave of displacement. According to the IOM, the fighting displaced 7,800 people, with some of the affected civilians crossing the international border into Ethiopia seeking safety.
