IDF Clears Hezbollah Underground Command Center in Ali Taher Ridge
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) successfully neutralized an extensive Hezbollah underground facility beneath the Ali Taher Ridge in southern Lebanon. Troops from the 36th Division achieved operational control of the tunnel network, which was being used to launch attacks against northern Israel. During the operation, Hezbollah fired explosive drones at IDF positions, resulting in one intercept and no injuries. Concurrently, Israel released five Lebanese civilian detainees as a goodwill gesture following diplomatic mediation by the United States.
