Commercial tankers Burgan and unidentified vessel attacked in Strait of Hormuz
The Bahrain-based Joint Maritime Information Center (JMIC) reported two separate security incidents involving commercial shipping. The oil tanker Burgan was harassed while transiting the Strait, and a second vessel was struck by three unknown projectiles 17 nautical miles east of Khasab, Oman. These attacks, attributed to IRGC forces, occurred as part of a persistent pattern of maritime surveillance and disruption intended to pressure international shipping navigating the energy corridor.
