Iran Launches Massive Ballistic Missile and Drone Retaliation Against U.S. Regional Bases
In the early hours of September 2, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched a large-scale wave of ballistic missiles and drones targeting U.S. military interests in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan. The strikes were a direct retaliation for U.S. attacks inside Iran on September 1. The Jordanian military confirmed detecting 13 ballistic missiles near the Gulf of Aqaba, with 10 intercepted and three landing in remote areas. No U.S. or Jordanian casualties have been confirmed.
