A force of 200 fighters from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), led by intelligence commander Abu Bakr Hamouda Dahloop, defected to the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) in Omdurman. The unit, which managed the special missions intelligence division in North Kordofan, joined the regular army with all their combat vehicles and equipment.
