Russia Conducts Massive Wave of Drone and Missile Strikes Across 15 Ukrainian Locations
On the night of August 28-29, Russian forces launched a major coordinated assault against Ukraine using 267 drones of various types, alongside an Iskander-M ballistic missile and an Oniks anti-ship missile. Ukraine’s Air Force reported that 233 of the drones were successfully intercepted or jammed by air defense systems. However, strikes were recorded at 15 different locations across the north, south, east, and central regions, while debris from downed targets impacted four additional sites.
