Chad reports deadly airstrike by Sudan near shared border
Chad has accused the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) of conducting a deadly airstrike on a fuel market near the border between the two countries. The attack resulted in 12 deaths and seven injuries. This incident follows reports of a separate cross-border strike by the SAF against a military convoy more than 100 km inside Chadian territory, prompting Chad to raise its military alert level to maximum in the eastern Ennedi region.
