Myanmar Air Force Bombs Strategic India-Border Trade Route in Chin State
Myanmar Air Force jet fighters dropped approximately 30 bombs on Meezar village in Chin State, targeting a critical cross-border trade corridor with India. The three-day aerial campaign along the Kaladan River aims to sever supply lines to territories controlled by the Arakan Army (AA). The strikes have halted all commercial transport between India’s Mizoram State and Paletwa Township, which the AA captured in 2024. Local sources report the bombardment has caused significant civilian casualties and destroyed riverfront logistics.
