Military Airstrike on MDF Training School Kills Four in Khin-U Township
Myanmar military jet fighters carried out more than 20 airstrikes targeting the Kabut Village jetty and a Myanmar Defense Force (MDF) training school in Khin-U Township on August 27. Local sources confirmed that four civilians were killed in the bombardment near the border of the Sagaing and Mandalay regions. The junta reportedly prioritized roads and river jetties used by internally displaced persons (IDPs). Resistance forces in the area responded by intensifying attacks in neighboring Myingyan.
