Families Displaced in Ta'iz Due to Ongoing Hostilities
Between August 16 and August 22, 2026, the International Organization for Migration's Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) tracked 218 households displaced at least once in Yemen. The vast majority of these individuals, totaling approximately 1,308 civilians, were newly displaced within the Mawza district of the Ta'iz governorate due to ongoing low-level conflict and instability.
