Mazloum Abdi, commander of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), announced the formal dissolution of the group and its full merger with the Syrian national army. The move marks the end of the SDF's mission following three years of relative regional stabilization and a series of peace agreements with Damascus. The restructuring is intended to unify military command under the central government in a new phase of national integration.
