Israel conducts strikes in southern Lebanon and erects earth barriers
Israeli warplanes and artillery targeted the Litani River area and the town of Markaba early on August 25. Concurrently, Israeli forces stationed in Kfar Kila and Tall al-Nahhas began erecting new earth barriers near Burj al-Muluk, approximately 150 meters from residential areas. The Lebanese National News Agency reported these actions as breaches of the US-mediated framework agreement signed in June, which intended for a gradual Israeli withdrawal from occupied southern Lebanese territories.
