Russia launches massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine
Russia launched a large-scale aerial assault against Ukraine overnight into Tuesday, deploying an Iskander-M ballistic missile, a Kh-31P guided missile, and 150 drones. Ukrainian air defenses successfully intercepted or suppressed 124 of the drones. Strikes were recorded across 17 locations, resulting in at least 5 deaths and dozens of injuries. The attack caused significant damage to infrastructure, with the operation still ongoing at the time of reporting.
