Chinese military activity detected near Taiwan
Taiwan's Ministry of National Defence reported the detection of 14 Chinese navy ships and five military aircraft operating near the island. One aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and entered Taiwan's southwestern Air Defence Identification Zone (ADIZ). In response, Taiwan deployed its own aircraft, naval vessels, and missile systems to monitor and track the Chinese movements, maintaining regional vigilance amid persistent PLA activity.
