Over 200,000 displaced in Sudan's Blue Nile state following RSF offensive
A Sudanese government official confirmed that fighting between the army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has displaced more than 200,000 people from Kurmuk, Qeisan, and surrounding areas in Blue Nile state. The displacement follows the RSF-led "Tasis" alliance's capture of strategic border towns near Ethiopia. Humanitarian conditions are reportedly deteriorating rapidly due to heavy rainfall, food shortages, and the difficulty of delivering aid to the region.
