The attacks aim to breach critical manufacturing, energy, and water facilities to disrupt operations or damage equipment. Cybersecurity researchers have linked the activity to the IRGC-affiliated "CyberAv3ngers" group. The malicious tools are designed to conduct reconnaissance and gain unauthorized access to industrial control systems by mimicking legitimate administrative monitoring traffic.
