Russia Reverses Energy Flow with Emergency Gasoline Imports from India
Following a successful Ukrainian strike campaign against refineries and depots, Russia has officially begun importing refined petroleum products to address domestic shortages. A shipment of approximately 68,000 tonnes of gasoline from India arrived at the Arctic port of Vitino after a ship-to-ship transfer near Oman. This reversal of traditional energy flows comes as Moscow reimposes purchasing limits at fuel stations and seeks additional rail imports from Belarus and Kazakhstan to stabilize its war-strained economy.
