Combined Russian Missile and UAV Strike Targets Kryvyi Rih Industrial Sites
Russian forces launched a massive aerial assault on the night of August 15-16, targeting the industrial city of Kryvyi Rih with ballistic missiles and "Gerbera" attack drones. One person was confirmed killed and 13 others were injured. Satellite data indicates significant damage to the ArcelorMittal mining and metallurgical complex, Ukraine’s largest. The strike was part of a wider wave involving 106 drones and multiple Oniks and Iskander missiles hitting 13 locations across Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk.
