Somali intelligence kills two Al-Shabaab commanders in Middle Shabelle
Somalia’s National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) conducted a targeted operation in the Warciise area, killing two senior Al-Shabaab commanders and seven local militia members on August 14. The commanders were identified as Ahmed Ali Jim’ale, responsible for operations in the Jowhar district, and Geedi Mohamed Nor Adde, who oversaw the Dumaaye region. The strike targeted a militant gathering preparing for attacks against state installations and was supported by international partners.
