Ukrainian Strategic Forces Strike Savasleyka Airbase and Samara
Ukrainian long-range units conducted significant strikes against the Savasleyka military airbase in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, which houses MiG-31 fighter jets capable of launching Kinzhal ballistic missiles. Monitoring channels reported multiple fires and explosions at the facility. Simultaneously, explosions were reported in the city of Samara, approximately 800 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. Sources suggest the use of Flamingo or Oreshnik ballistic missiles in these operations, which target Russia’s deep-strike aviation infrastructure.
