Mass Defection of 291 RSF Personnel to Sudanese Army in Northern State
Authorities in the Al-Dabbah locality reported that 21 commanders and 270 fighters from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) defected to the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF). The defectors, from RSF Groups 55 and 47, surrendered 37 combat vehicles and declared their allegiance to the army. This mass defection represents a significant shift in local dynamics in Northern State as the SAF attempts to consolidate control against paramilitary forces.
