Russian Jet-Powered Drone Wave Kills Railway Workers in Odesa
Russia launched a massive wave of 133 drones against Ukraine overnight, with Ukrainian air defenses intercepting 111. In the Odesa region, a jet-powered Shahed drone deliberately struck a passenger train locomotive, killing the driver and his assistant. The train, carrying 340 passengers, was stopping for an evacuation when hit. Additional strikes were recorded in 15 locations across the country, wounding civilians in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia and damaging residential buildings and energy infrastructure.
