Israeli drone strike kills driver in southern Lebanon despite fragile truce
An Israeli drone targeted a vehicle near the southern Lebanese village of Ain Baal, killing the driver, identified as Ali Sabbah. A subsequent strike reportedly targeted first responders, damaging an ambulance but causing no further injuries. The incident occurred despite a theoretical ceasefire being in place. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz visited the border region shortly after, vowing that Israeli troops would remain in a "security zone" within Lebanon to ensure the dismantling of Hezbollah infrastructure.
