Iran-backed Houthi rebels fired three ballistic missiles at the Yemeni commercial vessel Tihamah near the Bab el-Mandeb strait, marking the first confirmed fatalities from Houthi maritime attacks in this phase of the conflict. The strike killed four crew members, including three Pakistani nationals, and two members of the government-allied National Resistance Forces who were attempting a rescue. The vessel was at anchor northeast of Perim Island when it was hit.
