Myanmar resistance PDF commanders transition to "Strategic Offensive" phase
Senior commanders of the People’s Defense Force (PDF), under the National Unity Government (NUG), formally adopted a plan to shift from a "People’s Resistance War" to a "Strategic Offensive." The decision, finalized during a four-day meeting ending August 6, aims to coordinate offensives with ethnic revolutionary organizations across ten military regions. Concurrently, the Myanmar junta intensified airstrikes in Sagaing and Karenni states, hitting an IDP camp in Demoso and a school in Wetlet Township, killing one civilian and damaging infrastructure.
