Evacuation of residential block near Dar al-Muttaqin Mosque
On July 28, 2026, Israeli occupation forces issued an urgent evacuation order via phone calls for an entire residential block in the vicinity of the Dar al-Muttaqin Mosque on al-Yarmouk Street in Gaza City. Residents immediately fled their homes for fear of an imminent attack. Around an hour later, an Israeli warplane targeted and destroyed the mosque.
