Russia Launches Massive Drone and Missile Assault on Ukraine
On the night of August 3-4, 2026, Russian forces launched 136 drones and an Iskander-M ballistic missile against multiple regions in Ukraine. The Ukrainian Air Force reported intercepting 117 UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas models. Despite the high interception rate, impacts were recorded at 14 locations. This assault follows a particularly lethal 24-hour period where previous Russian strikes killed at least eight civilians and injured 66 others across the country.
