Daughter of Russian Aerospace Forces Commander Injured in Moscow Terrorist Attack
Maria Chaiko, the 25-year-old daughter of General Alexander Chaiko, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Aerospace Forces, was reportedly injured in an explosion at the Balzi Rossi restaurant in central Moscow. The blast, confirmed as an improvised explosive device (IED) attack by Russia's National Anti-Terrorism Committee, killed five people and injured 21 others. General Chaiko, currently overseeing missile strikes in Ukraine, is believed to have been the primary target during his 55th birthday celebration.
