Ukrainian long-range drones strike oil refineries in Bashkortostan
Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces executed a deep-penetration strike on August 2, 2026, targeting three major oil refineries in the Russian republic of Bashkortostan, located approximately 1,600 kilometers from the frontline. The facilities, which process millions of tonnes of oil annually, were hit by a wave of drones intended to disrupt Russia's military economy.
