Suicide Bombing Near Moscow Restaurant Kills Three and Injures 21
An explosion occurred near the Balzi Rossi restaurant on Kudrinskaya Square in central Moscow, killing three people, including the female bomber and a security guard who intercepted her. At least 21 people were injured in the blast, which occurred around 8:00 PM local time during a private event. Russian authorities identified the device as a homemade improvised explosive (IED) and are investigating whether the carrier was aware of the explosives.
