Tigray authorities reported a resumption of hostilities between the Ethiopian National Defense Force (ENDF) and regional rebels in the northern Tigray region. The Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) claimed that government forces launched a new offensive operation in Western Tigray, close to the border with Sudan.
