Microsoft Azure and 365 Services Hit by Global DDoS Cyber Attack
Microsoft confirmed that a massive Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack triggered a nearly 10-hour global outage for its Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms. The incident, which began around 11:45 UTC, affected users' ability to access Outlook, Office, and the Azure portal. While Microsoft's protection systems initially engaged, a configuration error exacerbated the connectivity issues.
