Myanmar Junta Airstrike Kills Eight Civilians in Bago Region
A Myanmar military airstrike targeted a village in the Bago Region on Wednesday, killing at least eight civilians, including three children. The National Unity Government (NUG) reported that the attack destroyed several residential homes and a local church. This strike is part of an intensified aerial campaign by the junta following a recent reshuffle in military command. Reports from Sagaing Region also indicated two additional civilian deaths from airstrikes in Wetlet Township during the same 24-hour period.
