Myanmar PDF Forces Kill Nine Regime Troops in Magway Checkpoint Raid

Resistance fighters from the People's Defence Force (PDF) launched a coordinated attack on the Shwepan military checkpoint in Myothit Township, Magway Region. The assault, targeting a key security post on the highway to the administrative capital Naypyidaw, resulted in the deaths of nine regime soldiers. Approximately 21 other personnel fled the position. Following the raid, the Myanmar military (SAC) intensified road blockades and security measures throughout the township to prevent further resistance advances near the capital.
