Israeli Drone Strike Assassinate North Gaza Police Chief
Brigadier-General Abdel-Nasser Al-Maqadma, the head of the Hamas-led police force and governor of the northern Gaza Strip, was killed in an Israeli drone strike in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City on July 25, 2026. The strike targeted a bicycle near a busy intersection, killing Maqadma and wounding several others. Israel alleged he was a member of Hamas' military wing.
